Ambassador Program

We invite you, or IBD professionals you know, to apply to the 2022 AIBD Ambassador Program. AIBD Ambassadors are directly involved in programming, abstract review, question moderation, and mentored research presentations at the conference. They are uniquely positioned to strengthen their academic IBD portfolio and gain firsthand access to AIBD faculty, meeting co-chairs, and other key opinion leaders.

Applicants should be within 10 years of GI fellowship (IBD fellowship preferred) or other specialized training. International, pediatric gastroenterology, surgery, nurses, and advanced practice IBD providers are also encouraged to apply.

Application Requirements:

  • Current CV/Resume
  • Letter of Recommendation from an established mentor/colleague in the IBD field
  • 250-word personal essay: "Why do you want to be an AIBD Ambassador?" (i.e. why is this opportunity important to you; what skills/assets/strengths make you an ideal candidate, etc)
