Dear Colleague,
It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that we invite you to attend Advances in
Inflammatory Bowel Diseases 2008, the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation’s Clinical & Research Conference. More than 800 people attended the meeting last year and a record number of abstracts were submitted. We are looking forward this year to continued growth and another exceptional educational event.
The conference this year expands on the two-track format for clinicians and researchers. We are particularly excited by our expert faculty, comprised of the foremost bench to bedside leaders from across the country.
Clinicians will follow a program track of didactic presentations on advances in the
management of IBD. Case-based clinical breakout sessions and debates on current controversies in IBD provide a thorough analysis of all currently available and emerging data and valuable and practical take-home information. By popular request, expanded sessions for allied health professionals and a new pediatric session will provide greater opportunities for these specialists.
The research track will feature presentations on the state of the art in genetics,
microbiology, immunology, inflammation and cell activation. Basic research “meet the professor“ seminars will provide the opportunity to interact with thought leaders in IBD research.
Presentation of basic and clinical research abstracts and satellite symposia on selected educational topics will round out the conference for all attendees.
We are certain that you will find this meeting to be informative and enjoyable. If you are interested in presenting your research data at this year’s meeting, we encourage you to submit your abstracts online by September 12, 2008. To submit an abstract, go to www.advancesinibd.com and click “Abstracts”. We look forward to seeing you in December!
Sincerely,
