ABSTRACTS
The abstract submission date has passed and we are no longer accepting abstracts.
Acceptance notifications and guidelines for poster presentation were sent on October 29, 2008. Authors of accepted abstracts who have
not registered will have until November 20, 2008 to do so at the rate
of $250.00. After this date, abstracts without registered presenters
will be disregarded.
Young Investigator Award
Young Investigator Award (supported by Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals, Inc)
This award is available to assist with conference-related travel expenses for fellows in training. The first author must meet the following requirements:
*The candidate for the award must be in training in a recognized GI training program *Candidate must show original research of major importance in the field of medical/clinical Inflammatory Bowel Diseases conducted by themselves and co-investigators (if any) *Candidate must show relevance of the work to a current problem in patients involving Inflammatory Bowel Diseases.
*Candidate must submit a well-written,concise and accurate abstract *Candidate must register for the conference and agree to be present during the scheduled poster presentation times *Candidate must provide a letter of support from his/her Program Director indicating their eligibility for the award *Check Merit Award box on official abstract form
Abstracts of Excellence Award
Abstracts of Excellence Award (supported by Procter & Gamble Pharmaceuticals, Inc)
This award has been established to encourage and recognize scientific research excellence. The award will be presented to the three (3) best overall abstracts presented at the 2008 Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Crohn's & Colitis Foundation National Clinical and Research Conference. The first author must meet the following requirements:
*Candidate must show original research of major importance in the field of medical/clinical Inflammatory Bowel Diseases conducted by themselves and co-investigators (if any) *The selected abstract should not have been presented previous to the 2008 Advances in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases Crohn's & Colitis Foundation National Clinical and Research Conference. *Candidate must show relevance of the work to a current problem in patients involving Inflammatory Bowel Diseases. *Candidate must submit a well-written, concise and accurate abstract *Candidate must be registered for the meeting and agree to be present during the scheduled presentation times |
